My wife, Terri, and I have lived in the Newton and Halstead areas most of our lives. My family has been long time residents of the Harvey County Area. My family has owned various business in the community including Bockhaus Concrete.

I was involved in the early development of the Halstead EMS and served as Halstead Ambulance Director for 10 years. I have been active in the Halstead Fire Department as well. I have also been involved in the construction business for over 20 years.

My love for homes expanded when Terri and I purchased a 1890's era home in Newton. I enjoyed reconstructing and remodeling this home to reflect early Victorian Architecture and charm. This home was featured in an article in "This Old House" magazine in April 2003. It was also featured in the Newton Kansan.

I believe quality in the services you provide is important in founding lasting business relationships.
